Messed up colors on Power Mac G4 MDD

I just installed Lubuntu on my Power Mac G4 (MDD 2003), and this is what appeared:
* Most colors were reversed
* The background was corrupted
* I couldn't selest any resolution but 1360x768 on a 1440x900 monitor
* All pop-up windows were messed up

How? Why? How do I fix it?

If you installed from the Alternate CD, do either of these scenarios match your situation?

If one of them works, then yaboot can be edited.

Well... I tried using video=ofonly, and the video works fine. The only issue is that when I start Firefox, the fifth time I click the mouse, the computer suddenly crashes. Seriously. Ask me to post a video if you don't believe me. I'm posting this reply on a Chromebook Pixel because of this problem.
