    Exclamation ubuntu 13.10 will not run in virtualbox

    Hey, I run Windows 8.1 and I wanted to run Ubuntu 13.10 in a virtual machine, but when I click try ubuntu, it waits for a bit, then says ubuntu 13.10 has encountered a fatal error. When trying to install ubuntu on the virtual machine, I get something like "gave up waiting for root device". I keepp all my virtualbox stuff on a separate partition.

    12.04 works fine in virtualbox
