    One of my favorite emulators is VisualBoyAdvance for Gameboy, pretty easy to use and intuitive to my needs.

    MSX - MESS
    BBC - MESS/b-em
    PSX - PCSXR / EPSXE
    PS2 - PCSX2
    PSP - PPSSPP
    Gamecube - Dolphin
    Wii - Dolphin
    GBA - VisualBoyAdvance / Mednafen/Retroarch
    DS - DESMUME
    Saturn - Yabause
    Atari 2600 - Stella / z26
    Atari Jaguar - virtual jaguar
    Amiga CD32 - FS-UAE
    DOS - Dosbox
    Laserdisc - Daphne
    Nintendo Virtualboy - mednafen

    As regards WINE and emulation I have zero problems running (In the latest Wine 1.7.16)
    4DO, WinVICE, WinUAE, Future Pinball, Visual Pinball

    And running full retro OS like, Enterprise (ep128emu), MacOS9 (sheepshaver), Android (Genymotion), Amiga Workbench 3.1 (FS-UAE), Acorn Archimedes (rpcemu), Atari ST (Aranym), Apple II (Xkegs)

    I love Mame to play Burgertime, Donkey Kong, Pacman etc. Huge fun especially if you remember playing those in the 80'

    I am more old school. Stella is great emulator for the Atari 2600. I have found it to have near perfect emulation.

    Text base 'interactive fiction' (like zork), its DOS, there is a ton of it out there and DosBox works well
