Windows can't read the files I move to hard drive any more?

Before this latest update I used to be able to move movies from Linux onto my extra hard drive then reboot to windows and drag them to my Doccuments, now windows says that the hard drive is unavailable when I click on the files even when I can open everything else on it. fat32Drive C has windows Drive B has ubuntu and "ntfsDrive A" is for movies. Again I say everything was working fine untill the last update.

Can you move those files in Linux? If you copy them back to your Linux install what happens? If you can do all these in Linux it may be a Windows problem.

Edited: Is there any reason why your Windows partition is in FAT rather than NTFS? I am no expert in file systems but it seems that FAT can support only up to 4 Gs of data. That may be your problem.

I can move them around in linux no problem and the movies work fine

Correction windows is on an SSD that is NTFS

The real reason i move movies to windows is to use a really easy cd burning software called convertXtoDVD, could you reccomend something that would work in Ubuntu, Im willing to pay for it also
