Ubuntu encrypted install

So i had windows installation , 2 ntfs partitions and 1 truecrypt hidden partiton separated
I then dediced to install ubuntu , run installation , checked that it replaced my win7 system and encrypt it
Installation finished , and I ended up with WHOLE HDD FORMATED AND ENCRYPTED. Why there isn't some warning ??
Am i able to restore data from truecrypt partition somehow ???

You need to find a way to mount the encrypted data. Boot up to a emergency disk mount the disk and extract your data.

Are you sure I can do that , because i had 3 partitions on windows , and i ended up with only 1 with linux on it ?
Any additional help would be apppreciated ://
