    Question Weak skype notification on unity

    Hi, I am trying Ubuntu 13.10 and Unity (after having used Kubuntu for many years), and I just noticed that it's very difficult to notice when someone has left a message on skype. On Kubuntu it used to blink/flash, while in ubuntu this is almost impossible to notice.
    Is there a way to get a better visual notification?

    Yes, there is skype-wrapper. It will integrate Skype into the messaging menu for new messages and also use notify-osd to notify you.
