What you mean with Tango? What program is it?
In the SoftwareCenter you can find stuff with the name Tango, so look at that first.

If you mean the program like Skype, I searched about it on google and it has no version for Linux.
An open-source program you can use is: https://jitsi.org/

Duplicate threads merged. Please do not create duplicate threads, it dilutes community effort.

It would be helpful if you told people what you are referring to when you talk about "Tango".

Suspect a reference to the iconography of the Tango! Desktop Project. The Website has pages on style guidelines, a base icon library, and a project showroom.

    Re: tango for linux

Actually I think he's talking about the Tango Messenger. There is no version for Ubuntu. I recommend they use Skype instead for this kind of communication; Skype is available on Linux (as well as virtually every other platform, mobile and desktop) and there are more people using it.
I try to treat the cause, not the symptom. I avoid the terminal in instructions, unless it's easier or necessary. My instructions will work within the Ubuntu system, instead of breaking or subverting it. Those are the three guarantees to the helpee.
