Ubuntu Studio: installing flash player plugin

    Hi,

I have just installed Studio Raring Ringtail and need to install flash player plugin for Firefox.

I've searched the forum and online and nothing seems to work. I believe I'm not doing something right.

Please let me know *exactly* the process I need to follow and if you need any info about the OS/browser/files I have.

    Thank you.

    Hello and Welcome

The Flash Plugin Installer is in the software-center alone or along with the Ubuntu Restricted Extras package . Open the software center , search for the packages, and select install. The Ubuntu Restricted Extras package includes audio/video codecs as well.

Since Ubuntu Studio has xfce... you will have to install 'xubuntu-restricted-extras'.
