Gyazo for linux capturing black area?

Gyazo is a java screen grabbing app (i think it's java based) that immediately captures the area you want and uploads it to the gyazo servers for you to instantly share the image with others. It's awesome for those quick screengrabs you want to share with others without having to upload it first to picasa web or photo bucket or put it in your dropbox and wait for it to sync.

I got it working except when I capture google chrome, it appears some of the image it thinks it's capturing is black. here's an example

I actually just figured out how to fix the issue, make sure there are NO windows in the background open, minimize them all to your running app bar (whatever it's called) and then when you do the gyazo it works, see here

The issue is not fixed on my computer. The program still grabs the wrong screen even when minimized.
