Lightbulb how do i disable the "suspend" prompt in ubuntu 12.04?

this is the last thing that i am trying to fix.

i am not trying to disable the shutdown dialog i am trying to disable the suspend dialog

i am using acpi and pm-suspend to suspend my laptop with the power button but when i start it back up the suspend dialog is still there that shuts down the computer after a certain amount of seconds. so if i press the power button to start it back up from shutdown and walk away for a few seconds i come back to a shut down computer, i suppose.

    how do i disable that?

i already tried disabling the restart shutdown dialog but that only works for shutdown ..
i also tried looking through dconf, gconf and compiz settings manager but i couldnt find anything ..
nor is there really a question out there like this through all my hours of research done ..

its always about shutdown or restart, not about suspend dialog .

Re: how do i disable the "suspend" prompt in ubuntu 12.04?

i just figured it out, for now. i suppose suspend wasnt used any more when this laptop came out.

hibernate works just as well on 12.04 as it didnt and suspend did on 13.04 and 13.10

    hows that for circles? - _ ^

if i find any more issues i will be sure to post them.

    update:

ubuntu uses suspend, not "sleep" ..
    same thing, different word
just for clarification for anybody who does not know or did not notice.
