Help with default keyring / seahorse

    Hi,

Seahorse is not installed by default on Xubuntu, so I installed it in order to manage my default keyring (in relation to the networking issue I posted here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.p...2#post12863042 ).

However, when I open the GUI I cannot see my passwords listed UNLESS some application has already asked me to open my default keyring. How can I manage this directly, without having to open some other application first?

    Many thanks.

Do you mean the keyring is locked?
If so you can right click on the keyring to unlock it.

Ah, yes, so you can. Thanks for the screenshot. My GUI is slightly different. Under "Passwords" it says "Default". If I click on the folder icon or the name nothing happens (hence my confusion). I have to click on the padlock icon next to it, on which I don't get a drop down menu, but I do get a new window asking me for the password to unlock it.
