How do I change my site username?

I've gone over 10 posts and was under the impression I'd be able to change my username once I did so (because the name I have is not the one I wanted, I didn't know it would use it), but I don't see an option

You could have 50,000 posts here and it would make no difference to being able to change your name.

I've just seen other users who've done it by asking in a thread, so could someone (a mod preferably) change my name to

ballisticturtle (if space is allowed, can you put one in between ballistic and turtle?)

or parabolicturtle
