How to open up multiple calculators?

On my Unity Bar (if that is the right terminology), I have put a shortcut for a calculator.

If I click on it, I can open up one calculator session, but if I need a second one, how do I open it? If I click on the shortcut, it just brings my original one back into focus.

    Thank you

Please try a middle click on the launcher icon : http://www.ubuntugeek.com/list-of-ub...shortcuts.html

    Middle-click on the launcher.
That seems to work, if you've got a mouse with a middle button.
I'm not sure how you'd do that with a mousepad on a laptop...
Aha, further investigation tells me :-
Emulate the middle-click effect by pressing both right and left click buttons at the same time!
And yes, I've seen it working (on my laptop anyways).
    Hope it helps.
