    New wallpapers using Pinta

    Hi there everyone,
Here are a few wallpapers that I've worked on today using "PINTA" for anyone who's interested.
Some of them have a bit of comic flair to them but hopefully you'll like them.
I've made a few of them using some familiar online images that you've probably seen before.
    ENJOY!!!

    Re: Created Today

Thread moved to Art & Design.

    Hi chickdee1, and welcome.

I have moved your post to its own thread as you will have more chance of people seeing it. Just post new threads rather than jumping on old ones.

Love what you're doing and nice introduction in the 'Introduce yourself' thread, but just a heads up, from the forum guidelines:

Use color and font properties for highlighting portions of your text, and not for all of the text in your post. Please use the default font color and properties unless you need to highlight or draw attention to a part of your post. ALL CAPS is interpreted as screaming. Funky non-uniform font size/color is difficult for those who are visually impaired. If you are having problems with reading the font, please adjust your browser.
I have edited this post accordingly. Thanks and keep up the good work.

    Guidelines can be found here:

PS: In reference to what you said you were up to in the intro thread, unless there is a good reason not to, I would be inclined to install 12.04 LTS in preference to 13.** for new users. New users might not be too impressed when they need to upgrade their OS next April (when 13.** support ends). LTS releases are supported for five years and generally rock solid (12.04 LTS supported until April 2017), interim release only nine months now. 13.10 can be problematic for some as the bugs get ironed out.

    All the best.

    Re: New wallpapers using Pinta

Thank You Bucky Ball for the Ubuntu OS advice and tip, I've definitely installed more of the stable 12.04 version instead of 13.10 lately, but ocassionally some of my customers seemed to really like the new Unity desktop on 13.10 but I'll just try to convince them otherwise. For my own PCS I'll definitely will wait it out until it's stable to use.
    THANKS AGAIN!!!

Very nice chikdee1. You have a flair for design! The last one made me think of a few sports teams' colors.

Thank you Buntu Bunny, the last one for sure especially if you're a Minnesota Vikings fan, the colors will definitely appeal to you.

And for college football fans, the Clemson Tigers sport purple and orange.

Hi chikdee1, great work to say the least. Hope to see a few with the Ubuntu symbol and without the version number and so on. Like I said, GREAT WORK to say the least.
