Reverting To The Dark Side (Windows 7)

Okay, guys. It's been fun. I've had my share of programming, and honestly, I can't handle the lack of support on games and the amount of failed wine executions. So, Honestly, I just wanna go back to windows 7.
Here's my problem. I installed ubuntu OVER windows. I was a noob, yous guys.
Anyway, legally or not, I'd appreciate the quick and easy route out of this sticky situation. Thanks in advance.

Use the recovery media that came with the computer to reinstall Windows, although something tells me this may be a problem ?

Hello. Since you installed ubuntu over windows, there is no other way than to just install windows again normally. Simply boot your windows installation cd or USB drive and install windows, formatting your drive. This will completely remove ubuntu and all files. If you would want to keep your files, create a backup of your files on a external drive or a cloud.

Any Illegal means of installing Windows can't be discussed here and a violation of forum rules . If you have your product key for Win 7 you may be able re-install with MS Support. http://support.microsoft.com/

My computer was bought from a local Best Buy, and did not come with a disk. Is there somewhere I should look in particular for a product key?

There should be a product key on a sticker somewhere on your computer - kind of hard to miss, really, if you look around. If not, you need to take it up with the fine folks at Best Buy.

You can download installable media for Windows 7 from a couple of places (legit) - google it.
