Laptop shuts off after plugging in AC adapter
IBM ThinkPad R52
BackTrack 5 R2 (updated w/ all BT5R3 features)
I normally plug my AC adapter to my laptop when its down to 10% or barking at me that its close to hibernating. Last week I must have plugged it in right at the moment it was shutting down. No problem I thought, but ever since that moment the laptop will shutdown either as soon as I plug in the AC adapter or after a couple of minutes of it being plugged in. Not only that, but I can't shut down the computer without having to press the shutdown button because there's always a process that just hangs up. Only way for me to charge my battery is when the laptop is turned off.
Attached is a picture of the process that always hangs up the system and never goes past that message which forces me to press the power button. Any ideas as to what may have happened during that moment when I plugged in the AC adapter? Perhaps bad mobo??
