    Testing BlockHosts in VMWare Ubuntu

    Hello all

    I am very new to Linux Operating systems, and need help testing the BlockHosts python script inside my VMWare Ubuntu system.

    I have activated the script, and now want to test to see if it will block an ip address if I fail to login a few times.

    I don't know how to achieve this, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Login to what? Just try connecting via ssh or something.
