Thumbs up Forum SSO Login Timeout Too Short

Sorry - didn't know where to post forum questions.

I have the forums up most of the day and respond ad hoc. About 5 times, I'm forced to re-authenticate with the Ubuntu SSO. Seems the timeout is a little short to me.

Is there an easy way to increase it to 24 hrs?

There is - but unfortunately it doesn't just affect login.

    Thanks.
It is helpful in explaining the situation, but
it is not helpful in resolving the issue.

Could the forums be setup to allow 3rd party openID providers? Then I'd run my own and have control over the timeout periods.

Please do not take that request to mean that facebook or google or tweeter should be used - those are 100% non-go for a tinfoil hat wearing guy like me. BTW, recently I've come to believe that I haven't been paranoid enough online and my IRL friends are saying "thanks for NOT saying 'I told you so'."
