Settings for good screencasts with Kazam screencaster and kdenlive
I am using Kazam screencaster for recording screen to make tuts. But when i open it in kdenlive for editing the quality of video is poor. What are the recommended settings for creating good quality screencasts.
By default, kazam is et to record at 15 fps and when i change it to 25 fps, things start lagging.

Well, depending on your hardware, you'll have trade-offs between fps and resolution while still working with the limitations of your recording capabilities. I bet a Core i7 with 16G of RAM and an SSD can record 25fps and 1080p, but lessor hardware will have trouble keeping up, so either reducing the resolution and/or the framerate are options. Also, not using real-time encoding and having faster storage will help too.
What is wrong with 15 fps? It makes for smaller files, which is good and having more FPS doesn't usually matter for tutorials.
