    another account foul up

    Hello All,
Hope you are surviving the transition!

My Ubuntu One email is datamason@gmail.com. My old forum account name is motomixon and email is zxbimmelbahn@yahoo.com

Trying to add zxb... to my Ubuntu One account elicits the error: "another account already has this email", so I am prevented from adding zxb to my SSO account as per your instructions. The "send instructions" on page https://login.ubuntu.com/+new-email provides no emails to neither data. nor zxbim.

So I am blocked combining my accounts, if I understand your directions properly.

The message "another account already has this email" means that another Ubuntu One account already has this email and since the email is yours, the other Ubuntu One account would be yours. You must have created an earlier Ubuntu One account and perhaps forgotten about it?

If you log in to Ubuntu forums with the earlier Ubuntu one account, you will log into your earlier forum account. Try logging out of Ubuntu One, entering the appropriate email and see if you can log in to the old Ubuntu One account. If you have forgotten your old Ubuntu One password, there is a forgot your password link at the Ubuntu One login page.
