Request to merge (accidental) new and old forum accounts

accidentally created new forum account through the new login procedure
new account http://ubuntuforums.org/member.php?u=1859910
old acount http://ubuntuforums.org/member.php?u=1838517

I'd like to keep the old account please.

Then set the e-mail address at login.ubuntu.com to the same address as the forum uses and as preferred - the forum doesn't recognise that 2 gmail addresses are the same with a . in them. It treats them as different addresses.

Do that - logout and login again you should be back in the correct account - I've done the disassociation.

Hello and thanks.
If I understood, my gmail with a . won't work so I've tried to re-associate my account with a similar email with a _
I've change my preferred email to that one, but when I try to change my email here in the forum settings it tells me my password is wrong. And... umm ... I'm here logged in and the password seems to be working.
I'm a bit lost about that, perhaps I'll give it some time for the fresh password to update in the forums?

The e-mail at login.ubuntu has to have no . nor - nor indeed anything else.

It has to be the SAME as the forum one.
