Is this for Ubuntu?
If so, try opening the iso with archive manager and then try extracting the files.

I really don't know what many zip files means.
Is this an iso for linux or for opensource?
They are not one and the same.
Could give us more information about the package.
Like, what it is.

Yes, it is an open source from sourceforge and it is called Openums.
This doesn't seem to be just a package - it appears to be a whole system - boot from the iso and it wipes your hard drive and installs a specialist version of Linux with the voicemail system etc. included. So if I've understood this right you won't be able to install it from within a running system, you'd be wiping out the system that's doing the install.
If you do want to go ahead and wipe your system and install this voicemail system instead, you probably need to use one of the USB utilities to create a bootable USB stick from the iso file.
