Ubuntu GNOME blue text on gray background impossible to read

I'm testing the Ubuntu GNOME Beta 1 candidates (possibly not final) and I found this nearly impossible to read:

It also effects the reboot messages.

Anyway I needed to steal some space for a pic as I don't want to file a bug just yet
