What you need is the modified version of pmount.
Did you add my repo ?
What you should do next is :
    Code:
    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get upgrade

You can try also with konqueror.
    Thx for the answer

Indeed it works well in command line ! But the problem remains using KDE ! Maybe it will be fixed in the the new Fuse packet ! Is it worth compiling it now or should I just wait (when do you think it will be released ?)

    Hum, strange things.
Didn't want to put the latest version of fuse but if it solve this problem, i could do it. If you could test it for me that's could be great.
If you want, i can give you some package, or just grab the source from :
    http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...kage_id=132802
    Thanks.

I tried to compile fuse but it's still the same problem ! Do I need to compile anything else to upgrade its version (libfuse or fuse-utils) ?

Re: HOWTO: NTFS with read/write support using ntfs-3g (easy method)

actually, fuse-utils & libfuse are 2 packages from the same source : fuse. So compiling fuse will replace the two.
An other things that could done is to use the new kernel module of fuse. I now that there is some change on it. You can do so by using configure with the option --enable-kernel-module or something like that. Be careful that this will replace the currant module. If you want to uninstall fuse 2.6, this will remove this module, and you'll have to reinstall your linux-image to readd the fuse module.

But in any way, since i can't easily and safely upgrade this module by the repo, and because the new version don't fix your problem, i'll not upgrade fuse to 2.6 yet.

    Thanks for the tes

This ntfs-3g is fantastic. I recovered all of my personal and work files from an NTFS partition. XP wouldn't let me access the files "access denied", but I was able to copy them to a flash drive with no problem. Good work man.
