Can someone explain this to me?
I dual boot on my computer with Windows 7 and Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. During bootup when my Grub2 menu comes up, the last entry is as follows: Windows 7 (Loader) (on /dev/sdb1). I've recently noticed that when I have a Kernel update, the location on the hard drive changes to sdc1 from sdb1. It stays that way for around 2 or 3 days and then reverts back to sdb1. It seems to do it every time I install the latest kernel updates. Can anyone explain to me why this happens?
