    HDMI 5.1 surround not working

I´m using Ubntu 13.04 with the latest updates.

I plugged my HDMI cable connecting my TV/Home Theather to the computer.

I cannot make 5.1 sound to work. Only Front-Left and Front-Right is playing some sound.
It was working at Win7 and Win8.

I tried to change daemon.conf of pulse
    default-sample-channels = 6
    enable-lfe-remixing = yes

    Did not work.

Also tried dkms to update intel hda drivers. Same result.

The selected sound card at sound config is "Intel HDMI Digital Sorround".

Long time ago i was a hardcore linux users. I used to have patience to config and config and config to make things work. Don´t have patience anymore.
Many time has passed and linux still can´t be user friendly. Why can´t it simple plug-and-play like Win and Mac? Wasn´t ubuntu suposed to make this things nice and easy?

Perhaps i should go back to slackware distro. Hard config by hard config, a cleaner distro is better.

    Does anyone has any tip?
