    back in business with 3.11_rc3

    first of all, let me say it is so good to be back !

    3.11_rc3 came out yesterday:

    i bought a new 120gb ssd (kingston hyperx) while the forums were down, and installed the 64bit, saucy daily build from 7-28-13. blazing fast install off a usb thumb drive with no issues whatsoever. just updated the kernel to 3.11_rc3 and everything is really flying here!

    I am running rc3 on my raring intel laptop, runs just fine, just a minor permissions issue after suspend (also present in 3.10)
    the /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu$X/cpufreq/cpuinfo_cur_freq file where $X is greater than 0 has it permissions reset to 400 where i have set it to 444

    3.11-rc3 is sporting some rather savoury radeon dynamic power management code as well which my HD 4200 mobility is rather happy for

    Well I'm about to give a go on both saucy and raring..

    Yeah, Vent is back. He gave the mods/admins a run for their money on Discourse.

    Didn't know he had it in him. He (ahem) vented on 'em... LoL!
