Possible to livestream music from lubuntu to wii?

Hello i'm wondering if its possible to livestream audio from lubuntu to my nintendo wii? I searched everywhere for a solution but its only streaming.
My wii is softmodded by the way if that will help.

VLC offers a 'media serving' capability. I've never tried it myself but it should work.

Otherwise you should be at least able to connect to your server from you wii... provided you have both connected on the same network. I don't know how the wii handles remote media servers but I'm sure you can get info from the forums.

Might want to look into installing Mediatomb and then if your Wii is running homebrew channel then there's at least one or two homebrew apps I believe that can access UPNP media streams.
