    From mac os to ubuntu

    Hi,
I'm new in ubuntu. I had a mac, and I have an external drive that was formated only for mac. I've all my time machine configurations and files there.
How can I read/use it in ubuntus? Can I?
    Thanks

    Veronica

for accessing to OS X volumes and for managing them in Ubuntu you may install hfsplus and hfsprogs by running the following command into a Terminal window:
    Code:
sudo apt-get install -y hfsplus hfsprogs
for all your needs about how to run Ubuntu on a Mac you may give also a look to the following subforum: Apple Users
