    PDF viewer with animation support

Is there anybody who knows of pdf viewers for Ubuntu which support imbedded animations (created with LaTeX and \animategraphics).
At the moment only Adobe Reader supports it, but unfortunately it doesn't work in 13.04 (GTK3 overlay error which crashes acroread), but worked fine in 12.10.

So far I have tested Evince (which is my favourite viewer), Okular, Xpdf, and Mupdf, with little success.

Does anyone know why the pdf viewers doesn't support this, is it an Adobe secret???

My workaround right know is Adobe Reader 9.5 (windows XP 32bit) installed with Wine, but that is not something I'm really happy with.

Re: PDF viewer with animation support

Thanks for the link but all the pdf viewers which are mentioned does not support animations.

I do many presentations where vector graphic animations are necessary (or at least a key element), which means that I'm at the moment dependent on Adobe Reader.
