I have spent the better part of a day trying to find a command-line method for disabling my second monitor (I'm using Nvidia blob ver 319.32). If I were in Twinview, I could simply use disper, but it appears that neither disper nor xrandr can handle monitors configured for separate X sessions (aka Zaphod mode). I've also tried to figure out how to use nvidia-settings on the command line, but I haven't been able to turn up anything useful....
