    Question Installing Ansys 11 for Linux to Ubuntu 12.10

    Hello everyone,

    I would like to install Ansys 11.0 to Ubuntu 12.10. Is there anybody who can explain me briefly the steps that I must follow for this.

    I am also looking for the same solution.
    This time its Ansys v145(14.5) on Ubuntu 12.04.

    According to their documentation, for Linux, it runs only on SUSE and Redhat -- and then, only on 64-bit.
    Ubuntu 16.10 Mate, Mint 18 Mate; MS Win 8.1, MS Win10 Pro.

    Yes they only support Ansys on SUSE and RedHat but it also runs on ubuntu. Have it installed here on 12.04

    Okay, so pretty much everyone struggling to install Ansys on Ubuntu would know that Ansys doesn't support Ubuntu.

    But, we are constrained and we don't have the option of changing the OS.
    So,,, how do we do it?
