shut down without confirm

when you hit the shut down on Xu you get a confirmation box. Can I get rid of that and have it just shut down immediately??

I've never used xubuntu, so I have no idea if that still works or not..

Sidenote, thank you for reminding me I needed to figure out how to remove that confirmation prompt from my 12.04 VM.

It is if you already have a terminal open. If not, you're probably safer using the gui shutdown method.

In Xubuntu put an action button on the panel and configure it for shutdown. You get single-click shutdown that way.

I don't know what you are doing with your pc but I have always a terminal open so it is fast enought to tipe poweroff in it and hit enter for me faster than klick on the ubuntu butto click on logut and then on shutdown.
