HDMI no signal on ivy bridge

    Hi

Iam using Intel i3-3225 with the integrated graphics card HD 4000. My motherboard has DVI, HDMI and DP as graphical outputs. I do not have any other graphics card installed. When i'am using the DVI port it works but not with the HDMI port. When the computer boots I can see a purple screen for a couple of seconds then the screen goes black and then the monitor starts switching between digital and analog mode. It's like the monitor is not getting any signals. If I use nomodeset in grub the HDMI port works but it is using the VESA driver.

I have been trying Ubuntu 12.04, 12.10, 13.04 and 13.10 but with the same problem. I installed the linux-graphical-installer (https://01.org/linuxgraphics/downloa...-version-1.0.2) when I used Ubuntu 13.04 but that didn't help. I have also tried using https://launchpad.net/~glasen/+archive/intel-driver but with the same problem. I have also tried different kernel versions (3.5, 3.6, 3.8 and the latest 3.11) but with the same problem. If have also tried using dual monitor (DVI and HDMI) and it is only showing picture on the DVI monitor but I can see that my other monitor shows up in the display option. If i use xrandr i can see the two displays.

Is there someone else with a ivy bridge desktop computer that are able to show picture from the HDMI output?
    Please help me....

Re: HDMI no signal on ivy bridge

No one with the same problem? Ivy bridge with HD 4000 most be very common hardware.
    UPDATE
I have tried using HDMI on two monitors and a TV. I have also tried installing Windows 8 and it is working perfect with HDMI.
