Why has the forum been closed to new posts?
Oh, I see that it has not.
That is the message I get when trying to reply to my thread however.
I don't think closing this thread is justified. There are no flames, no trolls, and no personal attacks of any kind in the discussion. We are having a meaningful discussion on the course of Ubuntu's development.
Please unlock this thread.
::EDIT:: It wasn't locked, just a momentary bug perhaps.

No, I attempted to reply to this thread. This thread is an active and ongoing discussion. I started it two days ago.
The thread is once again accepting replies. Perhaps it was a bug in the forum? Sorry for the over-reaction, but since the topic is somewhat controversial I was expecting something like that to happen eventually.
The only thing I can think of is that you may have tried to reply to the thread without logging in. I got the same message last night while setting up Saucy with mir, The only reason I really noticed, is that many of the categories I usually see, weren't there.
Logged in with session cookie saved. I finally got a post through by opening the same thread in a new tab and pasting my post into a new reply there. Nothing else looked out of place when I got the error; I was still logged in. I got the error twice. Perhaps something went wong with the session cookie?
