Identifying whether kernel patch is available for Ubuntu
As I was fiddling around with a audio/video set-up, I would like to route audio through the Novation Twitch DJ-controller, which also contains a USB sound card. It seems a kernel patch to usb-audio was just released which would enable this feature: http://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/ker...ab6e2a44b83de6
I am currently running 12.04 LTS and have several kernel versions (3.2, 3.5, 3.8) available for installation through Synaptic. How do I find out which of these kernels contains the above patch? If none do, what would be the best way to integrate it myself?
