My wireless was working fine on kernel 3.8.0, but no longer works in 3.9.0. By that, I mean "Wifi" isn't even an option in the Network Settings.
I'm using Ubuntu 13.04 on a Sony Vaio Fit 14E. Here's my network adapter's info:
And thenCode:lspci -vvnn | grep 14e4 07:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation BCM43142 802.11b/g/n [14e4:4365] (rev 01)
I've tried installing different drivers for the 43142 with no success (maybe incorrectly?). Ethernet works perfectly.Code:*-network UNCLAIMED description: Network controller product: BCM43142 802.11b/g/n vendor: Broadcom Corporation physical id: 0 bus info: pci@0000:07:00.0 version: 01 width: 64 bits clock: 33MHz capabilities: pm msi pciexpress bus_master cap_list configuration: latency=0 resources: memory:c0700000-c0707fff
Any help would be immensely appreciated because I need this computer for work. Thank you!
