Good day.

Since upgrading to 13.04 (and updating the patches) I have a strange issue in that the System Tray Network Manager indicator shows a "weak" signal icon, even if I am sitting right next to the Wireless router. If I reboot the indicator shows the correct symbol for abundant signal strength.

It also seems (subjectively) that I have more trouble connecting to my home Wireless network when I resume, compared to what I am used to prior to the upgrade. I don't have another wireless network readily available to check whether this is only on my home network, but I do know that my Wife with her Windows PC does NOT have a similar problem.

Any ideas what gives? Could it be that the indicator icon is not updating correctly? Or even that the Wireless card is left in some kind of power-savings mode?

Thank you.
