    Running Movies on Ubuntu 12.04

I am about to borrow a movie on DVD from our local library, and would like to know what I need in terms of apps, etc. to run it on my machine (Ubuntu 12.04).

    Thanks

You will need to use VLC media player, as the default Totem Movie Player is not sufficient.

Depending on the disc, you might need a decryption library. The Ubuntu help document or the page mentioned above will explain how to install it easily.
