How I made my student animated film with Pencil, GIMP and Blender

I made a "making of" video to show the long process I went through to make my student film, a 2D animated short with a lot of 3D "tricks".
I used real world pencil and paper for the first part, then scanned in batch with sane/xsane and continued the animation with Pencil 2D.
Inkscape was useful for some parts of the backgrounds, in combination with GIMP (also used for coloring).
Blender was the main tool I used, to composite all the pieces together and to animate the 3D baddie.

Very inspiring. Thank you for taking your time on making of the 'making of'

Do you have all those concept arts and preliminary sketching available on any website of yours?

@iamcreasy not all the sketches are online (I didn't even scan all of them), but on my blog linked above there's some production material. Is there any specific drawing you'd like to see better?
