    Lightbulb Really unusual keyboard layout

Well guys, if you like funny keyboard layouts, this is the one! I'm not typing on it right now (I can't switch my laptop to it) but I can assure you it is really hard.

This keyboard layout is really random, but inspired by Dvorak's keyboard. Most of the bottom row is similar.
The top row is split 7:5 symbols to letters.
The number row has weird characters on it, and also all the numbers.
ripsavz.txt is the xkb layout. It contains 1 variant, basic.

    A random keyboard?

I'm a touch-typist (almost). My fingers know where to go. If I were to use a random keyboard, it would be like learning from scratch all over again.

It's not for me, but thanks for the chuckle!

In my day, we had outdoors in which to run, play, and socialise. Now we have computers to do those.

It pains me just thinking about trying to learn that thing. No thanks.

    I ditched it for Dvorak.

It's not totally random - I can see the logic of putting the vowels all on one side to encourage switching hand use, which is supposed to speed things up. But, yeah, making a keyboard layout from scratch when there are several reasonably well-thought-out options out there seems a bit silly.

I touch-type, too, and I don't want to switch from Qwerty, although Colemak looks nice. = )
I know I shouldn't use tildes for decoration, but they always make me feel at home~
