Drag/drop files from music CD to MP3 player

Is there an easy way to drag\drop music cds to an mp3 player?
I have a Sandisk Clip Zip music player.
When I put in a music CD in the CD player Rhythmbox automatically starts. But I am unable to transfer songs using it.
Does the CD player have to be mounted if I want to simply drag & drop files into the connected Clip Zip player?
If it does require mounting an example of the data required to mount the player would be appreciated.

The simplest process would be the most desired as I have no experience transferring files into an MP3 player.

Music CDs contain a totally different type of data than your MP3 player can recognise. You need to "rip" the music from the CD into MP3 format and then drag the MP3s to the player.

In Rhythmbox, go into the Preferences and the Music tab. Select the option to import music in "MP3 format".

Insert your CD and when it appears at the left of the Rhythmbox window, right click it and choose Import. When that is done, close Rhythmbox and go into the Music folder in your home folder. Drag the new folder full of MP3s, to your Sansa.

This is more to do the fact you need to rip the contents of your music CD to MP3 format. Once you have done that, you should be able to play the music on your MP3 player if you drag and drop.
