Slow Mouse and Keyboard Input in OpenGL Games.

Hello,

When I play a game like Portal or Minecraft, my mouse and keyboard input lags. When I try to move the mouse or use keys on the keyboard there is a 1-2 second pause before it actually does anything on-screen. Has anyone else had this problem? It seems to have arisen after I installed the fglrx driver from AMD's website. I have a USB mouse and keyboard, and the graphics is a Radeon HD 6450.

Are you running the native versions or under WINE?

I had a similar 'problem' in Portal (and Half Life and Team Fortress 2 I believe), until I turned graphics settings down to something my system could cope with.

It could be as simple as that.

Hmm, the settings are pretty much the same as in Windows/Mac... :/ I'll try it.
