    If Ubuntu disappeared

If Ubuntu disappeared, what would you use? I'd probably go with LMDE, or pure Debian testing. Thought it could be a fun discussion.

    Re: If Ubuntu disappeared

If Ubuntu disappeared, I guess I'd be back to Arch Linux which was my home distro for 3 or 4 years now. What I only hope is that the GNOME and Ayatana Projects survive to use either GNOME Shell or Unity, my favourites UIs.

    Best regards

Debian Stable with it's default DE ( Xfde ) and a few select backports, for my workhorse.

Then for fun, Debian Testing and Unstable, Manjaro and SolusOS for riding, on other partitions.

    Re: If Ubuntu disappeared

Are we expecting this to happen?

openSUSE for me, or Linux Mint Debian, which I expect would become their main content if "something" happened to Ubuntu.
