Laptop Won't Suspend

Hello

I upgraded to 13.04 a week or so back and since I did it my laptop will no longer suspend / go into standby when I close the lid.

I suspect this is really simple to fix but I can't seem to find how to do it.

Any tips?

I'm having the same problem. Did you manage to fix?

Did you check the Power settings to make sure it's supposed to? (Just type "power" in the dash to find it.)

I've checked the power settings and it's meant to suspend when the lid closes.

Still unresolved sadly .....

You had any joy with this yet? I have an HP mini 311c that does the same, shuts down then restarts.

I fixed this on a Dell laptop by updating the bios. May want to try that if it isn't the latest version.
