    Choosing a Linux Music Player

I have a website mainly for Linux & Windows security but haven't thought to post about it on Ubuntuforums until now. Recently I checked out 15 Linux music players as I considered a replacement for Banshee. I looked at features, stability, style, CPU & RAM use and I even did packet sniffing with Wireshark to see how much internet traffic they generate.

For both new and experienced Linux users, this article could be a roadmap to finding Linux music player that really suits you. Just wanted to share.

Try VLC. It is a media player for Ubuntu. You can check here for VLC playback Features, http://www.videolan.org/vlc/features.html.
And you can follow the steps to install VLC as detailed in http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-ubuntu.html.
