Ubuntu on Skylake Mainboard - B150

    Hello!

I plan to set up a new PC with Ubuntu and Windows 10 (dual-boot) based on a new Skylake CPU, probably i7 6700.

Currently, it seems that the board Gigabyte GA-B150-HD3P would be a nice fit for my system. However, I was unable to find any information whether this board works correctly with Linux and especially Ubuntu. As far as I read, in general Skylake boards seem to work with Ubuntu 16.04 (Kernel > 4.3).

Does anyone of you have experience with this particular board or a different B150 board? Do I need to consider anything special to get both Ubuntu and Windows 10 to run in dual mode?

    Thanks in advance!

My recent build was with a Gigabyte Z170 board. I had seen comments where there might be issues with Gigabyte and if you call them they say they do not support Linux. But other than a number of settings in UEFI board works well.
