Let me start off by saying that I am running Ubuntu 12.10 x64. I don't have any sound when I play games. I think it is the plugin. Does anyone have a decent audio plugin for epsxe?
On a side note. Glad we have Portal natively on linux now :3

You should install pcsx. It's in the repos, and ready to run when launched.

If you dig around the web, you'll find some psx linux plugins. Usually in a zip file.
Just download 'em and extract into the hidden .pcsx folder, or epsxe folder(whichever). The folder will have the bios, patches, plugins, etc folders within it.
At least with pcsx, when the files are in there, when you run the program, the dropdown menu option 'configurations' has the first item as plugins and bios. You can change the plugins here.
