Hi , I am pretty new on ubuntu, I have previously installed ubuntu on my netbook and after trying many distros including ubuntu forks such as lubuntu , I have decided to come back to ubuntu since it just work out of the box

Now I want to install ubuntu on my main laptop , as a secondary OS dual booting with windows 8, I tried using unetbootin installing directly to the hard drive everything went fine during the install. However once I boot in to ubuntu I get the install ubuntu 13.04 icon/program.

is there any need to do this? I tried and I can't continue the process since my install media and my target is the same.

is there any way to actually install ubuntu from windows directly? without any sort of CD or USB (my USB keys is near unreadable in windows )

should I unisntall this unetbootin uninstaller first before doing anything?

thanks before hand
