Lenovo y500 integrated camera not working

Hello,
I've just installed Ubuntu 12.10 on my new Lenovo Y500, but the integrated camera is not working at all. I've tried Skype, also I've tried cheese but I get the following error:

•(cheese:2353): WARNING **: Error starting streaming on device '/dev/video0'

any idea how to fix this?
